Zita Gellér

Dr. Zita Gellér is Chief Strategic Coordinator and she is responsible for coordination of environmental education and ESD programs of the ministry, also dealing with sustainable development issues. She is the EIONET NFP since May 2019 and alternate member of EEA MB. She serves as NFP and Board member of the UN 10YFP on SCP. She is the Hungarian member of the Green Spider Network, the environmental communication network of the EU environment ministries and agencies since 2001.
Dr. Zita Gellér has been dealing with sustainable development on national, EU and UN level since 2003. She has been working on environmental education and awareness raising since 1991 and on education for sustainable development (ESD) since 2005, acting as the Hungarian member of the UN ECE Steering Committee on ESD, representing the environmental field.
